I'll have to get back to you on the Shapeshifter with AfterEffects thing,
as I have a huge project due in by the end of the week,
but on the topic of Lightwave at Bournemouth, the head of department
is currently looking at either Lightwave or Softimage, all running on Alphas
and/or SGIs.

Unfortunately, the UK distributors, Premiere Multimedia (or something)
are being very slack with their response to his queries, and consequentially,
he is tipping slowly off the fence into Softimage territory. Bugger.
It really would be good to get a network of 80+ Alphas and SGIs running
Lightwave here, but it is looking increasingly unlikely to happen simply
because the distributors really can't be bothered. Take note UK
distributors: we could be in te market for 80 copies of Lightwave... pay
us some attention!
